is sad news coming from the entertainment world. Korea’s
finest boy band TVXQ may soon break up. Do you remember
when the group was having an argument with their company?
The problem started in July. Three members of the group, Micky, Xiah,
and Hero were fighting with their agency SM. The reason was
because they believed their contracts were unfair.
Since they couldn’t resolve the issue, they went to court. The three members
and the agency still couldn’t come to an agreement. So,
what is waiting for the group? Although the other two members, Max
and U-know want to keep the group together, the three members may
quit.
 TVXQ debuted in 2004. Their first
album “Hug” was a huge success. Soon their fame spread to Japan and
many countries in Asia. Sadly, their contract took away the freedom of each member. The
contract demanded the boys to appear in any show the agency
wanted them too. There is more. The contract said each member must
follow the contract for 13
years! That’s a long time. The members must have felt used.
The group announced that the fate of TVXQ is still in question. The other two
members, Xiah and U-know have joined talk shows and various TV programs in the
past. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that they won’t have to break
up the group. |
