World’s Oldest Animal Actor Celebrates 77th Birthday    [18-04-2009] There are many famous animal actors in the world. Tarzan’s friend Cheeta is one of the most popular animal stars. He is a male chimpanzee. He lost his mom in the African jungle in the 1930s. An animal trainer found him and took care of him. Cheeta started acting in the movie Tarzan in 1934.
