are many great people in the world. We can learn many things from
them. So, who is the most powerful person in the world?
It’s really hard to pick one person, isn’t it? Well, according to Forbes magazine, U.S. President
Barack Obama is the world’s most powerful person.
The magazine released the most influential people list on
November 12. The magazine chose 67 of the most powerful people from
all over the world and Obama topped the list. He is popular not only in America
but also in many other countries in the world. He was even chosen as this year’s
Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Many other famous people were included on the list. Chinese
President Hu Jintao was named second, and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin was named the third most powerful person in the world.
Surprisingly, North Korean
leader Kim Jong-il ranked 24th. Al Qaeda leader
Osama bin Laden was also named among the most powerful people at number
37.
 American
talk show host Oprah Winfrey came in
number 45. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown
ranked number 29. Unfortunately, however, Queen
Elizabeth was not included on the list.
