Untitled Document
Meditation is a quiet time where you can be with yourself and listen to your heart. No, it¡¯s not a difficult thing. In fact, meditation is easy for children. You don't need any special tool or a special teacher. Yes, that¡¯s right. You don¡¯t need anything to meditate. All you need is YOU! You can meditate anywhere, any time. This week and next week, let¡¯s learn how to meditate and why it is good for you.

We are all living a busy life. Even children are very busy with many things. Living a busy life itself is not a bad thing. Being busy means you are doing your best every day. But we often forget who we really are. Also, we often forget to listen to our hearts. Meditation can help you think about yourself and listen to your inner voice.

Listening to your inner voice is very important. This is because it always tells you the truth about yourself. Your heart is the real home of you. When you can listen to your heart, you will feel joy and happiness. You will be able to know who you really are, too.

We have so many different feelings. Sometimes you feel sad. Other times you feel worried or angry. Well, here is a little secret. Meditation will help you become the happiest person in the world! The happiest people in the world are those who know and understand their hearts. If you learn how to understand your heart, you can be one of them.

Did you know that meditation can also help you solve your problems? We often face many problems - too much homework, friend problems, family troubles, and so on. When you are stressed and don¡¯t know what to do, it¡¯s time to meditate. Find a quiet place where you can be alone. Then, lie down or sit still and relax. Try to think about beautiful things. A quiet time and beautiful thoughts can help you come up with some new ideas to solve your problems. Meditation is a great way for you to focus on your strengths, too.

Now, let¡¯s do a little practice. Make sure you are in a quiet place. Don¡¯t let anything bother you. Now, lie down on your bed or floor. Try to feel very comfortable. Keep your eyes closed. Imagine yourself walking along a beach on a sunny day. See the waves come and go. Watch the waves, while breathing in and out evenly. Try to enjoy the comfortable feeling. After about 5 minutes, stretch out your arms and legs. Take a deep breath and sit up. You will feel very refreshed!

Next week, I will tell you more details about how to meditate. Please wait for my article next week!
