There are many dogs that work for humans. For example, some dogs help people who cannot see. They guide and protect their blind owners when crossing the street. They also help their owners at home. They are specially trained to help the disabled. Imagine how difficult a disabled person¡¯s life would be without a guide dog.

Some dogs rescue people. They work with firefighters or police. Using their great sense of smell, they often locate dangerous explosives or drugs. They also help find missing people. Don¡¯t you think these working dogs are amazing?

Yes, dogs are our good friends and helpers. This week, I¡¯d like to introduce you to a very interesting dog. Recently, a working dog is gaining huge popularity in America. Her name is Cody. She is a chocolate color Labrador retriever. So, why is Cody famous? Don¡¯t be surprised. She is working as a cashier!
Cody works at the counter of a gas station. She is surprising many customers. Just picture it! A cute dog popping up with her two paws on the counter. She even wears a T-shirt with the gas station¡¯s logo. This is not all. She also has a name tag.

Cody has been working there for 5 months. What are people¡¯s responses? Customers love to see her! The store owner says Cody is bringing great joy and big smiles to everyone. She is really amazing!
