 Crimes happen every day in every
city. Usually criminals look big and scary. And they carry weapons to scare and threaten people. Well, once in awhile there are
some really weird criminals. Recently a very unique robber was caught and arrested in San Diego, in the U.S. Here’s
what happened. On a peaceful and quiet evening a skinny man wearing a coat
entered a hotel. He walked up to the clerk and asked for some
money.
Now, the clerk thought the man was crazy or homeless. So, the clerk asked
the man nicely to leave the hotel.
Then, the man pulled out a knife! If you think the man pulled out
a big, sharp knife, you are wrong! The knife was a butter
knife. You know, a butter knife is very small, and it’s not sharp
at all. Would you be scared if you were the
clerk?
Of course not! The robber was a skinny man holding a butter knife! Believe it or not, the clerk
got really scared of the butter knife. So, he gave the thief some
money. Do you think that’s weird? Listen to this! The robber used
the money to buy some food across the street from the hotel. He was
arrested in a few minutes. That’s
one wimpy clerk. And that’s one
stupid criminal. |
