 Boy, I really need some luck these days. A few days ago,
I lost my iPod. And the other day, someone spilt coke on my favorite T-shirt. Although
I am struggling, some people are just amazingly lucky. And it’s
more amazing to know that for some, this luck is going and going.
A woman living in the U.S. recently won her 9th big lottery prize.
Her name is Brenda Bailey. She is a 60-year-old woman from West Virginia.
You’ve seen scratch and win lottery tickets,
right? Well, her recent scratch got her $7,000 of prize money! Since September of last year
she has won $159,000!
The funny thing is that she won
that money from simply scratching lottery
tickets. It seems like she has an amazing gift. Here’s something more
amazing. She isn’t the only lucky one in her family. Richard, her
husband also recently won $6,000! And last year he won $10,000 from
scratching. Maybe I will test out my luck today with
a lottery ticket. Sorry kids. Kids are not allowed to buy a lottery
ticket. You can test out your luck when you become adults. |
