tall are you? Most of you are still growing. Some of you may
already be a lot taller than
your classmates. But I’m sure
you are not the tallest teenager in the world. Then,
who is the world’s tallest teen?
Her name is Marvadene Anderson and she is 16 years old. She is a high
school student in New Jersey. Other than her height, she is just a normal teenage girl. So,
how tall is she? Don’t be surprised. She is 210
centimeters tall! But since she is still growing,
she will be taller when she fully grows up. She is even
taller than the legendary basketball player, Michael
Jordan, who is 198 centimeters tall!
 Not surprisingly,
Anderson is a basketball player at her school. “She is a talented player. Of course
she is going to be a star,” said her coach, Enid Angus. Thanks to her height, she
can easily scare her opponents on the court. Blocking shots and
making layups are very easy for
her, too. Most of the other basketball players barely reach her elbow. It is definitely the
sport for her.
She may look like a giant, but she has a very
tender heart. She also has
a good sense of humor. “People are
very kind to me because of my personality. If I were tall
and mean, I think I’d have a
problem,” said Anderson. The only problem she has is finding clothes
and shoes to fit her. Anderson wears a
very special size that she shares with no one else.
Let’s wait and see how tall she will be when she becomes an adult.
Also, let’s hope she will be one of the best female basketball players
