Recently, an amazing little genius joined Mensa, a club for highly intelligent people. His name is William Potter and he lives in England. William is only 3 years old. But he can solve difficult word puzzles on his computer. He can also speak foreign languages fluently!

William is still a little kid. But he is one of the youngest members of Mensa. Only about 30 Mensa members are under the age of 10. Two of them are girls and they joined at aged 2. So, what¡¯s William¡¯s IQ? He scored an IQ of 140 in tests! In fact, he is one of the most intelligent 2 percent in England.

According to his mother, Lynn Goldstraw, William could count to 20 before he was 2 years old. He also knew alphabets, colors, and different shapes. He learned how to speak Chinese and Spanish, too!

¡°He is like a sponge. I only have to tell him something once and he remembers it,¡± said his mother. ¡°By the time he was 18 months, he could already name 50 or 60 characters in the Disney film, Cars.¡±

William loves reading road maps when he goes out in the car with his mom and dad. ¡°He is like a human navigation system. When we go in the car, he sits in the back with a map on his knee. He reads the signs and tells me when to turn,¡± said his father, David Potter. ¡°He can also name all the cities on the map,¡± he added.

Isn¡¯t little William amazing? Let¡¯s hope he grows up to be a great person who helps other people with his enormous knowledge!
