 Whales
are known to be very smart animals. They are easy to train and can
learn many cool tricks. But have you ever seen a whale that can draw
pictures? If you visit a theme park in China, you can meet an amazing
whale artist!
Look at the pictures. The white whale is drawing a picture! His name
is Xiao Qiang. He is 7 years old. He lives at a theme park in Shandong
Province, China. Holding a brush in his mouth and either nodding or
wagging his head, Xiao Qiang can paint expressive pictures within
a few minutes!
 According to Xiao Qiang’s trainer Zhang Yong, he picked up the painting
skill very quickly. “Without much expectations, I gave him a brush
to have a try. I never imagined that he would be so talented at painting,”
he said. “He learned how to paint within a week! I was amazed at how
fast he picked up his new skill.”
Many people visit the theme park to see the amazing whale artist.
Some people even buy the whale’s paintings! “I’ve seen many whale
shows before, but I’ve never seen a painting whale! Xiao Qiang is
a genius!” said one of the visitors. |
