Recently, American President Barack Obama visited several Asian countries, including Korea. He arrived in China on November 16 and spent three days there. He had a meeting with the Chinese leader Hu Jintao. While staying in Beijing, he also met a very special person.
He met with his half brother Mark Ndesandjo! Mark said he bought airplane tickets months ago to fly from Shenzhen to Beijing, in hopes of meeting with his brother. Mark has lived in Shenzhen since 2002 and married a Chinese woman last year.

He was born in Kenya between Obama¡¯s father and his third wife. Even though the two brothers share the same father, they didn¡¯t grow up together. In fact, they met each other for the first time only a couple of years ago. The two met for the second time in January when Mark attended Obama¡¯s inauguration as a family guest. They still don¡¯t know about each other well, but they think they are family.
¡°Our meeting was amazing. As soon as we met, he just gave me a big hug and it was so intense,¡± said Mark. ¡°We talked about family, and it was very powerful. It was like we were continuing a conversation that had started many years ago,¡± he added. Yes, it¡¯s true that blood is thicker than water!
