There
are many smart people in the world.
They have very high IQ scores. World-famous scientists
such as Albert Einstein, Madame Curie, and Steven Hawking are well-known
for their high IQs. So, who has the highest IQ in the world? This
week, let¡¯s meet some of the smartest people in the world!
When thinking of a genius, Einstein is the first person to pop into most people¡¯s minds.
He surely was a very smart scientist,
and many people believe that Einstein was the smartest man in human
history. His IQ was about
160. But can you believe that there is another man who is even smarter
than the genius scientist? So, who is he?
His name is Johann Wolfgang von Goethe! He was a German novelist, dramatist, poet, scientist, and philosopher. He is best known
for his books ¡°FaustÆĿ콺Ʈ¡± and ¡°The Sorrows of Young WertherÀþÀº º£¸£Å׸£ÀÇ
½½ÇÄ.¡± According to a new report
released last week in England,
Goethe recorded the highest IQ in the world. So, how smart was he?
Don¡¯t be surprised. His IQ was
210!
After Goethe,
Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci turned out to have the second highest IQ. His
IQ was 205. He is one of the most talented artists in history.
The famous paintings ¡°Mona Lisa¸ð³ª¸®ÀÚ¡±
and ¡°Last SupperÃÖÈÄÀÇ ¸¸Âù¡± were painted by him. He painted many other
famous paintings and built many beautiful buildings.
French mathematician Pascal was
also a genius with an IQ of 195. Galileo Galilei also had a very high
IQ of 185. Galileo was an Italian natural philosopher, astronomer, and mathematician.
He was the first scientist who discovered the fact that the Earth moves
around the sun and not vice versa. In the past, people thought
the Earth was the center of the universe, not the sun.
Isn¡¯t it surprising to know that there
were many people who were even smarter than Einstein? Well, having
a high IQ is a good thing. But as Thomas Edison once said, ¡°Genius is 1%
inspiration and 99% perspiration!¡± So, if you
do your best in what you do and never give up, you can achieve many things like
these geniuses! |
