sure all of you have been to the zoo and know what tigers and pandas
look like. Indeed, the animals
in the pictures look like tigers and pandas. But if you take a closer look at them,
they look a little weird. Then, what are they?
You may be surprised to know that
they are actually dogs! The funny-looking dogs live in
China. Their owners have painted them
to look like other animals.
In fact, painting dogs to
make them look like different species is the latest craze in China.
The trend started in America.
Many American pet owners paint their dogs
to make them look like other animals at dog shows.
For example, some poodles have been transformed into lions,
ponies and even giraffes!
China tends to adopt unusual crazes quickly.
Pet owners in the country are now following the dog-painting trend
from America. Since the Giant Panda is the national symbol of China,
some dog owners paint their dogs to look like pandas!
It usually takes a lot of time and effort to paint the dogs.
