Have you ever been to Universal Studios? The world-famous theme parks are in Florida and California in the U.S. and in Osaka, Japan. Soon, another one will be opened in Singapore. You can enjoy various fun activities there! Here¡¯s good news for you. Universal Studios Korea Resort will be built in Gyeonggi-do in 2014!

I have been to Universal Studios in LA. I didn¡¯t want to go home because there were so many fun things to do and see! I highly recommend you to visit there someday. You won¡¯t regret it! I looked around many famous Hollywood movie sets such as ¡°King KongÅ·Äᡱ and ¡°JawsÁÒ½º.¡± I also enjoyed watching fun animal shows. I even took a picture with my favorite animation character, Shrek! It was amazing.

To my surprise, I will be able to enjoy all the fun again at Universal Studios in the near future. This time, I don¡¯t have to go all the way to LA. Yes, it will be built in Korea! Moreover, it will be the largest theme park in the world! Construction will start at the beginning of next year. I¡¯m so excited!

¡°Our Universal Studios in Korea will be bigger than all the other studios combined,¡± said Kim Moon-soo, governor of Gyeonggi-do. ¡°Building the world¡¯s largest Universal Studios in Korea will have a lot of benefits for us. This will attract many tourists to Korea. We expect to attract 15 million visitors a year. Also, it will create more than 100,000 jobs,¡± he added.

The resort will be built in Hwaseong, south of Seoul. The city is close to Incheon International Airport. Therefore, it will be easy for foreign tourists to visit the resort. Inside the resort, there will be a water park, shopping center, hotels and a golf course, too. So many things to see and do in one place!

Interestingly, the world-famous director Steven Spielberg will help design the theme park as a creative consultant! I¡¯m sure he will come up with many creative ideas to make the park even more fun! I can¡¯t wait to go there!
