Most children love eating chocolate and candy. There are so many different kinds of candy you can choose from. But have you ever tried insect candy? No, I¡¯m not talking about jelly worms or insect-shaped candy. I¡¯m talking about real insects!
There¡¯s a very special candy store called HOTLIX in California. You can find many kinds of insect candy there! The store sells chocolate-dipped scorpions, cricket lollipops, maggot candy, and many other strange and bizarre kinds of candy! Each candy costs about 300 won.

The store started selling insect candy in 1982. ¡°Our first insect candy was a lollipop with a worm. At the time, it was really popular,¡± said Katy Mitchell, manager of HOTLIX. ¡°We weren¡¯t sure how long the popularity would continue. Surprisingly, 25 years later, we are still going strong and our insect candy is now famous all over the world!¡±
So, would you like to have some insect candy? According to Mitchell, insect candy is a good source of protein!
