a man named Gerry Burks became
the oldest father in England. He is 75 years old! On March 12, Mr.
Burks’ 41-year-old wife gave birth to a son. The baby’s name is Ryan.
He is very healthy.
Here’s what Mr. Burks had to say about being England’s oldest father.
“I’m so proud. I feel like the luckiest man alive!” So, what’s the secret
of his health? “I could become the oldest dad in Britain thanks to my love for fresh
fruits. I especially love eating bananas,” he said. “I try to take good care of myself.
I don’t drink or smoke.
I don’t eat much salt, either. I usually have home-cooked food. Maybe that’s
what kept my body healthy,” he added. Congratulations, Mr.
