Can you play the piano? These days, many children learn how to play the classical instrument. Apparently, we use our fingers when playing the piano. But do you think you can play it without using your fingers? To our surprise, a young Chinese man did it! If you are curious to know how he played the piano, keep reading!

The name of the musician is Liu Wei and he is 23 years old. He was born and raised in Beijing, China¡¯s capital. Unfortunately, the young man lost both his arms in an accident when he was 10 years old; he suffered an electrical shock while playing hide-and-seek with his friends.

Since he doesn¡¯t have arms, he uses his toes to eat, get dressed, and brush his teeth. Living without arms must be very hard and inconvenient. However, Mr. Liu is very thankful for having two healthy legs. Using his legs, he can do many things from changing his clothes to surfing the Internet!

At the age of 18, he decided to become a musician and learned how to play the piano using his toes. He didn¡¯t go to any music schools to learn; he mastered the piano by himself at home! Now he can play the piano very well. In fact, he even won a TV talent show!

On October 10, Mr. Liu appeared on China¡¯s Got Talent and played a very beautiful love song called ¡®You¡¯re Beautiful¡¯ in front of a jam-packed audience at a stadium in Shanghai. Everyone, including the judges, was deeply moved by the amazing pianist¡¯s passionate performance. Of course, he became the winner of the competition.

¡°I would like to keep on pursuing my dreams. At least I have a pair of perfect legs!¡± he said with a bright smile after winning. For winning the competition, the armless pianist will be invited to play as a guest performer with a famous Taiwanese singer soon. Isn¡¯t the toe-pianist amazing?
