On April 2, a Turkish pop singer named Metin Senturk surprised the whole world. He became the fastest blind driver in the world! He drove a Ferrari at the speed of 292.89 kph and set a new world record. Ferrari is a company that makes very fast sports cars in Italy. Mr. Senturk broke the previous record of 284 kph, held by a British bank manager.

To our surprise, no one accompanied him. Yes, that¡¯s right, the blind singer drove the car alone! The singer has been blind since the age of three. So, how could he drive the sports car? His driving coach guided the blind driver by radio, following him in a separate car. Mr. Senturk said that he is very happy to set a new world record.

¡°I don¡¯t think there are any words to describe this feeling. I am really happy,¡± he said. In the picture, he is holding his certificate issued by the Guinness Book of World Records with his driving coach. Congratulations, Mr. Senturk! You really are amazing!
