Rest in Peace, Paul!    [05-11-2010] Do you remember Paul, the psychic octopus? He became very famous during the 2010 World Cup due to his psychic ability. He surprised the world by correctly predicting the winning teams! Sadly, however, we won’t be able to see his amazing predictions anymore as he died last Tuesday. According to the Oberhausen Sea Life Center in Germany, where Paul lived and made his famous predictions, the octopus passed away peacefully due to natural causes on October 26. Born in 2008 in Britain, Paul was two-and-a-half years old. Octopuses usually live about three years. Therefore, the passing of Paul had been expected. Paul’s keepers said that he enjoyed a fulfilling, glorious life thanks to his special ability. Paul correctly picked the winners of the soccer matches of the World Cup held in South Africa this summer. Even before the World Cup, he correctly picked the winning team in the 2008 European Championship. Soccer fans all over the world will miss the amazing octopus very much.
