The pizza is decorated with very special toppings. So, what is the
special ingredient? Crispy locusts!
These days, many farms in the country are having a hard time as locusts
swarm across Australia. The
locusts cause great harm to the farms as they eat up all the crops. Recently, a pizza
restaurant in northern Australia has come up with a great idea
of getting back at the troublesome insects.
That’s right; cook and eat them! The restaurant offers locusts as a crunchy topping for pizza.
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United
Nations국제연합식량농업기구, locusts are good for your health because they are
about 62 percent protein!
There are many ways to enjoy locusts. They can be fried, roasted or boiled. Another piece of
good news is that they are free! You can just go outside
with a huge plastic bag and catch them! So, would you
