A Kid with a Tail!
There’s a kid in India who is considered as a God. Why? Well, it’s
not because the little kid has special powers. This is going to be
a little hard to believe. It’s because the little kid has a tail! Take a look at the photo.
The name of the little girl in the picture is Bellagi. She lives in
India, and she was born with a small tail. But it’s now about 20cm
long! What’s funny about her tail is that there is no bone in it. So, what does
Bellagi’s tail have anything to with being treated like a God? Well,
in India’s old legend, there’s a monkey
god that had special powers. And people think this monkey god is alive in Bellagi’s body.
Doctors say Bellagi’s tail can be very dangerous for her back. However, her parents
said she will not go through any surgery to get rid of her tail. They
strongly believe that she
is the monkey god!

Strongest Men Come to Korea
Have you ever heard of an event called Strongmen World
Championship? This is a competition where the world’s
strongest men come together to compete. And this year, it
will be happening in Korea in Choongchungnam-do. Some of the events
include rock lifting, weight lifting and even truck pulling! From the age
of 18 to 60, there will be participants from all over
the world. The Strongmen World Championship first took place in 2005.
So, the upcoming event will be the
3rd competition. The event will take place from September
9 to 15. If you want to check out big buffed men do unbelievable things, make
sure you check out the event!
Two Squirrels Hospitalized
 Often
times, pets get injured or sick and go to the animal
hospital. But have you heard of squirrels getting hospitalized?
Well, it happened in Florida in the U.S. Recently, a small plane crashed into a forest in Florida. When the
emergency crew went to save
the people in the plane, there was a small fire. Fortunately, all three people
in the plane had very small injuries. The injuries were so small that
they didn’t even have to go to the hospital!
But a fireman found two squirrels
injured and unconscious nearby the crash site. Their fur burned and bones were slightly broken. The two
squirrels were sent to a nearby animal hospital right away for treatment. They were hospitalized
and received treatment. Luckily, they are recovering very fast. The
funny thing about this story is that emergency crew went to the crash
site, and ended up saving two animals because the people in the plane
were perfectly fine! Phew! |
