Parrots can be found in most warm areas of the world. For example, you can see them in India, Southeast Asia, Southern parts of North America, South America, Central America, and West Africa. Parrots are usually found in the rain forests.

Most parrots eat fruits, flowers, buds, nuts, and seeds. But some parrots also eat insects and small animals. Almost all parrots nest in tree holes and lay eggs. All parrot eggs are white in color. parrots' average lifespan in the wild is up to 80 years.

Today, some parrot species are highly endangered. This is because people caught so many wild parrots to sell as pets. Also, many parrots lost their habitat due to forest clearing.
