sure all of you know who Napoleon is. Born in 1769, he was the Emperor of France. He was
also one of the greatest military commanders in history.
He left a very famous saying that goes: “Impossible is a word only
to be found in the dictionary of fools.” Napoleon decided on a military
career when he was a little
boy.
He won a scholarship to a French military
academy at the age of 14. The French Emperor passed away in 1821 on
the island of St. Helena. He spent six years on the island after being
defeated at the Battle of Waterloo.
Recently, a lock of hair cut from Napoleon’s
head was auctioned off in New Zealand. The hair was cut a day after
his death. The legendary Emperor’s hair
was sold for 13,000 dollars! It was bought by an unknown collector in London.
According to the auction house, the nearly 200-year-old hair is in excellent condition and
the buyer is very satisfied to
have the extra special hair. Please take good care of the valuable hair! |
