On hot summer days, you get easily annoyed. But being cranky is not good for your health. It will create more problems and make you angrier. It also makes other people around you feel uncomfortable. So, how can you stay calm and peaceful during the hot summer days?

The scorching hot, humid weather makes you feel tired and annoyed easily. On hot days, people often get into arguments over nothing. But there is nothing wrong with feeling angry or annoyed sometimes. These are natural feelings everyone has from time to time. However, it is important to control your negative feelings to lead a happy, healthy life.

No one likes a hot-tempered person! So you have to learn to keep your calm even when you are under a lot of stress. Yelling at someone doesn¡¯t solve anything. Even if someone is yelling at you, do not respond in the same way. It will make the situation worse. Try to keep your voice calm and behave nicely. If you do, the other person will stop yelling at you. Then you two can find the solution for the problem in a peaceful way.

When you are stressed or angry, close your eyes for a moment and take a deep breath. Breathing deeply helps you feel relaxed and reduces your stress level. Doing nothing for about five minutes is helpful too. Instead, close your eyes and try to think about pleasant moments in your life. For example, recall some happy memories of the past.

Try to do something you really like. For example, playing your favorite online game or playing the piano can make you feel better. You can also try eating your favorite food. Listening to nice music can help you calm down, too.

Taking a long shower can also help you calm down. Taking a short nap is helpful, too. Let your body take a rest for a while. Or try listening to the natural sounds around you such as birds¡¯ singing or the falling rain. These things will help your mind become calm and peaceful.
