 Recently,
a magic school was opened in
California. The school is called the Grey School of Wizardry. It is
the world’s first wizard school. The school
was established by a wizard named Oberon Zell-Ravenheart. Like Hogwarts
School in the famous Harry Potter series,
the Grey School teaches 16 departments, including alchemy, beast mastery, horse-whispering, wand-making, and spell casting!
Wizard Oberon is now 68 years old and he has dedicated his life to
studying magic. He believes that he is a real wizard and people call
him the “real Dumbledore.” He wears his
wizard costume and wand all the time. He even goes
shopping in his wizard costume! In fact, he was practicing magic long before J.K. Rowling
wrote Harry Potter series.
 Previously, Oberon was a
teacher and counselor. He became very
famous in the early 1980s when he claimed to have created the world’s first
unicorn. He and his wife, a witch named Morning Glory, said that they
have created a single-horned creature. The animal toured
all across America with a famous circus. “It’s every wizard’s
dream to have a unicorn, and we achieved that,” he said.
Recently, he decided to open the world’s only wizard academy to share his knowledge with anyone willing to learn magic. It
is an online college with regular wizard camps, where
muggles can study seven years
to graduate with a journeyman degree in Wizardry.
 Currently, the school has
735 students. Among them, 100 students are teenagers under 18. Just
like Harry Potter and his friends, the students must all learn to
defend themselves against
the Dark Arts at the school.
“If you’ve ever read Harry Potter and wondered if wizards really do
walk among us, perhaps behind a secret train platform, or in secret
communities, I can tell you that we are absolutely real,” says Oberon.
“Wizards do exist and they are walking
around the streets with you. Even if you see something
magical, don’t be surprised!” |
