Friends Come in All Sizes!
Think you're too short or too tall? Here's some good news. A recent study in the U.S. found that a kid's height or weight doesn't affect his or her popularity! Yes! That means kids who were short or fat had just as many friends as kids who were very tall or thin! Remember, kids. Personality is first! Appearance is next.

Give It Some Time!
If you wish you could change your looks, talk to your parents or trusted adults about what is bothering you. Some kids are not happy about their skin, and some are upset about their body sizes. You see, exercising to lose weight or drinking lots of milk to grow taller won't change your looks right away. It's important to know that everything takes time. There aren't any magic portions or special foods and exercises that can rush your change process. So, keep in mind that time will change your looks. Relax, eat healthy and exercise regularly! Your body will change when the time is right.

Want to Be Fashionable?
Are you tired of wearing dorky glasses or wearing braces? Yeah, I know that thick glasses can make you look nerdy. But hey, you guys are only kids right now. There's plenty of time in the near future for you to look cool and stylish. Braces will soon shape your teeth to look beautiful. And as you grow older, you can start wearing contact lenses. So, don't worry. There's no reason to be sad!

Be Active!
Watching TV and playing computer games are a lot of fun. But it doesn't do much for your body because your body stays still. When you move your body by playing, dancing, participating in sports, or even cleaning your room, you exercise your muscles. When you exercise a muscle, it gets stronger and stronger. So, be active! Being active will make you feel better about your body. Plus, when you know that your strong muscles will allow you to do well in sports and school activities, you will gain strong confidence! So, enjoy everything your body can do!

If you believe you are overweight, ask your parents to take you to the doctor. You may find out that your weight is fine. Or perhaps, you may find out that all the junk food has made you out of shape. If the doctor believes your weight could be healthier, he or she will advise you with a healthy exercises and diet programs. Don't worry, my friends. Sooner or later, you will be able to enjoy your new body!
