Last
week, a very special black silk dress was unveiled in Britain. Look
at the picture; the dress may not look very special, but it is no
ordinary dress. It is also
a mobile phone! The dress is called the ¡°M-Dress¡± and it allows its
wearers to make and receive calls by
just making graceful actions.
The dress is equipped with gesture recognition software.
When an incoming call is received,
the dress rings and its users can pick up the call by raising
their hand to their ear. They can end a conversation by letting their
hand down.
The M-Dress was designed by a fashion company called CuteCircuit in
London. It will be released in 2011 but its
price remains unknown. The company said on its website: ¡°Phone calls
are missed very often because
mobile phones are quite awkward to carry, especially for women
because their clothing has small pockets or none at all.
To allow women to stay connected while remaining
stylish, CuteCircuit designed the M-Dress.¡± Don¡¯t you want to try
wearing this special dress, too? |
