are often auctioned off and sold for high prices. For example, the
gloves of Michael Jackson fetched a whopping amount of money
in June. Some people are just dying to have the belongings of their
favorite celebrities.
Every single belonging of a famous person means a lot to their fans.
Even a toilet means a lot! On August 28, John Lennon’s toilet was
sold at an auction in Liverpool, Britain for ￡9,500 (about 18 million
won)! John Lennon (1940 ~1980) was an English singer who was a member
of the legendary group, the Beatles.
The toilet was used by Lennon for three years when he lived in Berkshire
between 1969 and 1972. It was initially expected to sell
for just ￡1,000, but it was sold for a much higher price to an overseas investor! What an expensive
