Many people are afraid of failure. Of course failing at something doesn¡¯t feel very good. That is why most people try to avoid failure. However, you should learn how to take advantage of your failure. According to American researchers, failure is a better teacher than success!

Everyone wants to live a successful life. Most people think that success is sweet and failure is bitter. But you have to understand that failure is essential in order to succeed! In fact, failure teaches us many valuable lessons and makes us better.

Recently, U.S. researchers found in their study that people actually learn more from their failures than successes. Researchers at the University of Colorado Denver Business School said that people gain more knowledge from their failures than their successes.

¡°We found that people who failed terribly perform much better in the long run. Success may be sweeter, but failure is a much better teacher,¡± said Professor Vinit Desai, who led the study. ¡°The knowledge gained from success is often forgotten, while the lessons people learned from their failures stay with them for a long time,¡± he explained.

You should treat your failure as a wonderful learning opportunity. But it doesn¡¯t mean that you should seek out failure in order to learn. Instead, analyze your small failures to gather useful information rather than wait for major failures.

¡°Whenever you fail, it makes you search for solutions. As you search for the solutions, you will be able to learn many things and get to have a more open mindset,¡± said Prof. Desai. ¡°Therefore, it is important to treat failures as invaluable learning opportunities. You should not ignore failures or blame other people.¡±?
