On October 10, the biggest flag in the world will be unveiled in Beirut, Lebanon. It was produced in Kuwait and it took about four months to make.
So, how big is the world’s biggest flag? It is 325 meters long, 202 meters wide, and weighs 8 tons! What a gigantic flag! The huge flag entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s biggest flag last Wednesday.

“The initial plan was to make a 25,000-square-meter flag, but when we heard that another country was planning to produce a 60,000-square-meter flag, we decided to upgrade ours to 65,650 square meters,” said Bassam Al Naamani, the ambassador of Kuwait in Lebanon.
The huge flag was made as a symbol of the unity of Lebanon. The flag unveiling ceremony will be held as part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Lebanese army.?
