It is not untrue to say that your brain is the most important organ in your body. It helps you move, feel, and of course think! Therefore, you should help your brain work better to live a happier life. Improving your brain power is the key to happiness! This week, let¡¯s learn how to improve your brain power!

1. Healthy Breakfast
Do you often skip your breakfast? If you want to have a stronger brain, you should start by eating a healthy breakfast every morning. Many studies have shown that having breakfast improves abilities such as concentration and memory. On the other hand, skipping breakfast reduces people¡¯s performance at school and at work. According to a new study done by researchers at Cardiff University in Wales, eating a fiber-rich meal in the morning helps your brain work better.

2. Laughter
Without a doubt, laughter is the best medicine. You can release your stress by having fun and laughing. After a good, hearty laugh, you often feel much better, don¡¯t you? But did you know that laughter is also good for your brain? A number of studies have found that humor improves memory! Now you know what to do to improve your memory; laugh, laugh, and laugh!

3. Regular Exams
You may not want to believe this, but it is true. Researchers at Kent State University in Ohio found that regular exams boost your brain power and improve your brain¡¯s ability to learn! The researchers discovered that preparing for tests improved memory by making the brain come up with more efficient ways to store and recall facts. So don¡¯t be afraid to take tests - they are actually good for your brain!

4. Sleep
Sleep plays a vital role in brain development and growth. Sleep is also necessary for the brain to strengthen knowledge and form memories. The hippocampus, where memory is stored, becomes highly active during sleep. It moves knowledge from the short-term memory to the long-term memory while you are sleeping. So make sure to have a good night¡¯s sleep for your brain!

5. Exercise
Regular exercise improves your brain function. Physical activities boost your brain power by activating the formation of new brain cells. Researchers found the areas of the brain that are related to memory and learning are stimulated through exercise. Exercise also strengthens connections between brain cells, improving memory.
