If you visit a restaurant in Jinan, in China’s Shandong Province,
kind and skillful robots will serve
you!
The world’s first robot restaurant, which was opened earlier this month, has six
robot waiters. They take orders from customers and serve them
food and drinks. There are also two robot receptionists. However, the
food is cooked by human chefs in the kitchen. The
robot waiters can take care of 21 tables and
about 100 customers at the same time. No matter
how busy they are, they never bump into the customers because
they have special sensing systems.
Many people are coming to the restaurant out of curiosity to enjoy
the unusual dining experience that the robots
provide. As the restaurant
is gaining popularity, it will increase the number of robots
