is a huge country with many interesting
people in it. Yet, when it comes to interesting
people, we can’t forget about Zhou Baokuan, China’s smartest man!
He has an amazing desire to study and has no
intention of stopping anytime
soon.
The 53-year-old scholar has earned a total of nine educational diplomas, including
three doctoral diplomas and two
master’s degrees. He has
studied very hard over the last 35 years and sometimes he doesn’t
even sleep so that he can study more. “I have to admit that it wasn’t easy
for me to get these diplomas.
Come to think of it, I spent around 126,500 hours studying for them!”
said Mr. Baokuan, who lives in Shenyang City. “It may be hard to believe, but I’m
currently studying to get
my fourth doctoral degree at Fudan University,” he added.
Recently, he was even awarded the title of the “Man with the most
Diplomas in the World” by the China World Records Association, in recognition of his incredible desire to study.
Good luck with your studies, Mr. Baokuan! But don’t study too hard
and take some time to enjoy your life! |
