use pens almost every day. There are
many different types of pens in the world. They also come in many
different colors including blue, red, and green.
However, have you ever seen a pen that is taller than you? Look at
the picture! You may find it hard to believe, but it is
a real pen! Recently, a famous U.S. cartoonist created a 2-meter-long
pen! Last Wednesday, Jim Woodring, who is well-known for creating
a series of popular comic books, unveiled the special pen
in Seattle. More than 100 people came to see the huge pen. Mr. Woodring
showed people how to write and draw with it.
People were amazed by the huge pen. “I put a lot of effort into
making my giant pen. I’m very happy to finally show it to many people,”
he said. But why did he make the huge writing tool? “People didn’t
believe me when I said I could create a huge pen. So I just
had to prove it to everybody,” he
explained. I guess people
won’t doubt his abilities from now on! |
