children enjoy skiing and snowboarding during the winter vacation.
However, it is important to wear a warm
hat when enjoying winter sports. It will protect your head and ears
from the cold weather.
Recently, the world’s longest
ski hat was unveiled during Sandpoint’s Winter Carnival, which is
being held in Idaho, U.S. The hat was knitted in 1977 by two people
in Sandpoint named Ginny Woodward and Scott Hadley. They made the
hat in order to spend the harsh long winter in a fun
way. Idaho is infamous for
its freezing winter days.
The hat was made using a knitting machine and it weighs about 36 kilograms.
So, how long is the world’s longest
hat? Believe it or not, it is 213 meters long! I guess Ginny and Scott
must have been really bored to make such a long hat! |
