Making other people happy makes you happy, too! You can make your friends feel good by saying something nice to them. Everyone loves getting a hearty compliment. So, how can you compliment your friends effectively to make them feel really special? Keep reading and learn!

Sometimes people say something nice to you to get something from you or to cheat you. But such sweet talk doesn¡¯t make you feel special, does it? Only sincere compliments can make people feel great. You can make your loved ones feel wonderful by giving them compliments effectively!

In order to make a hearty compliment to your friends, try to appreciate who they really are. True friends try to understand each other. They try not to criticize each other even when things go wrong. Do not try to change them the way you want them to be.

When you give someone a compliment, do not think about the things you will get in return. Do not expect anything and give the person the freedom to respond any way he or she like. The only reward you should seek is - knowing that you made someone feel wonderful.

When you give a compliment, do not give compliments on superficial things such as their looks and new clothes. Instead, choose to compliment them on something they did or a choice they made. Giving someone a compliment on something they¡¯ve done means you really care about them.

Another important thing to remember is this: give a compliment on something that you really admire. Then, your friends will feel really special and appreciative of your comment. If you choose to compliment something that you should admire or something you think other people will admire, they will notice that you don¡¯t mean it.

Sometimes making an unexpected compliment can make your friends really happy. For example, sending them an unexpected mail can make them feel wonderful. Print out a picture of your friend and write a note to tell him or her specifically how special he or she is!
