the Royal Wedding day nears, Britain is getting more excited. Prince William and
Kate Middleton’s wedding will take place on April 29 at
Westminster Abbey. To celebrate the royal wedding,
the Royal Mint released special ￡5 coin last month. The coin
features the faces of Prince
William and his fiancee.
Recently, even a British toy company Arklu created a doll modeled on Kate Middleton.
The beautiful bride-to-be became a new
British fashion icon. The limited edition ‘Princess
Catherine Engagement Doll’ is wearing a beautiful blue dress.
Seven famous British fashion designers designed the special doll and
only 10,000 dolls have been produced. The doll even has her own Facebook
page! It went on sale on April 7 in London’s famous toy store called Hamleys. It is sold
for ￡35 and ￡1 of every sale will go to a charity.
The doll is gaining huge popularity among Royal Wedding collectors. Many girls who
are dreaming of marrying a prince one day are also buying the doll. |
