Cat with Many Ears!
 Imagine
this. You were walking down a street, and you bumped into a cute kitten that lost its home.
What would you do? Well, if the animal isn't wild or dirty, I would be
very tempted to bring it home. This is exactly what one person did
in Russia. On an ordinary day, a person living
in a small city in Russia bumped into a very cute kitten. It was wandering
around the streets looking for food. So, the nice person brought it
home and decided to keep it as a pet. The funny thing is,
when the person looked at the cat carefully, it had six ears!
Take a good look at the picture.
The cat has two big ears. But below the big ears, there
are four small ears. Amazed and scared, the owner took the cat for examination at the local
animal hospital. According to the vet, this cat was 3 months
old. And the six ears were from the results of environmental pollution.
Luckily, the vet told the
owner that the cat is friendly and harmless.
A Police Car Gets Crunched!
 There
are many scary criminals in the world. Some
rob banks. And some kidnap people. But have you
ever heard about a police car getting crunched? Yeah, this is one
rare crime which most of
us never heard of. Well, take a look at the picture.
A giant crane squashed the police car like
a bug! This happened recently in the State of
Ohio in the U.S. Someone stole the giant crane from
a construction site. And this
person used it to destroy a police car that
was parked nearby. Did the police find
the person who did this? The answer is no. Nobody knows who stole
the crane. And nobody knows why this person decided to do such a crazy
thing. Thank God, no police officer was in the car when this happened.
Anyways, this sure is one
weird crime. Let's hope the police
find this criminal very soon.
This Looks Dangerous!
 Soldiers
definitely need to be strong
and brave. At a time of war, soldiers
must fight well to protect the nation. Since fighting for peace is a very difficult
thing to do, soldiers train very hard every day.
But don't you think sitting on the edge of a helicopter is a weird kind of training? I don't mean sitting
inside the helicopter. I
actually mean sitting on
the outer edge of the helicopter!
Take a look at this picture.
A soldier is tightly sitting outside the helicopter. And
it looks as if the soldier will fall off at any second. Well, this
is no circus act.
At desperate times when people
need to be rescued, helicopters are
used. And someone must come outside the helicopter to rescue them.
For this reason, soldiers in the U.S.
are training to sit on the outer edge of the helicopter. Boy oh boy,
I thought I was brave. But I don't think I can pull such a stunt!
