You have to wash your hands, face, body, and hair every day. Taking a shower or bath is a very important part of your life. Even when you feel tired, you shouldn¡¯t forget to take a shower or bath before going to bed. Can you guess what happens if you never take a bath? As you may have guessed, you will catch various diseases. Also, nobody will come close to you because you will smell really bad!

Some children don¡¯t like to wash their hair or take a shower every day. Some kids don¡¯t even brush their teeth before going to bed. However, keeping your body clean is very important. Hygiene is not just about keeping your body fresh. In fact, there are other benefits behind it.

Did you know that you can boost your immune system by taking a bath? You can also prevent skin diseases by keeping yourself clean and neat. A recent study even showed that bathing can heal serious health problems.

For example, you can improve your heart¡¯s performance by soaking in a hot tub for 10 minutes. People with diabetes can also lower their blood sugar levels if they take a bath in a hot tub for 30 minutes. So take a bath before you go to bed. It will help you fall asleep, too.

As the weather gets colder, you can catch a cold easily. You can help yourself feel better by soaking your legs in warm water. Fill warm water in a tub until it covers your ankles. Then, add a few drops of essential oils such as lavender, peppermint or lemon. After 10 to 20 minutes, rinse your legs with cold water.

Doctors recommend bathing in temperatures between of 32-35 degrees Celsius for about 10 to 20 minutes. Bathing with warm water may open pores and can help remove toxins. It can also lower blood sugar levels and heal sore muscles. It helps other organs work properly, too.

You can also take a bath in temperatures between 12-18 degrees. It can relieve stress and tension. However, it will narrow the blood vessel and increase blood sugar levels. Therefore, people with diabetes should not take a cold shower or bath.
