Most children love eating crackers. Sometimes even after finishing a bag of crackers, don¡¯t you want to eat some more? Or don¡¯t you want a cracker that is as big as your house? Do you think that is impossible? Well then, here is some good news!

On November 16, the world's largest ever rice cracker was made in Kioroshi, a town east of Tokyo in Japan. Rice crackers are called ¡°senbei¡± in Japanese. The crunchy snack is made from rice flour and is eaten widely in the country. Michihiro Yamaguchi baked the huge cracker for about an hour over an open fire, turning the giant snack every few minutes. ¡°I made dough with 15 kilograms of powdered rice. It wasn¡¯t easy to make the huge snack, but I made it!¡± he said with joy after setting the new world record.

So how big is the rice cracker? Don¡¯t be surprised. Its diameter is more than 2 meters! This means that the cracker is much taller than your father! So what did Mr. Yamaguchi do with the giant rice snack? He broke the soy-sauce flavored snack into small pieces and shared them with his neighbors. ¡°I hope that people all over the world will hear about our town because of my world¡¯s biggest senbei,¡± said the 63-year-old. Don¡¯t you want a piece, too?
