 Many
people don’t really like stray cats - especially black ones. Some
people even believe that black cats bring back luck.
However, a very lucky black cat found the
perfect owner. The stray cat was
rescued from the streets of Rome, Italy by a kind woman named Maria Assunta. His
name is Tommaso, and he is four years old.
Assunta took very good care of the cat, and they became best friends.
She had no children so she looked after Tommaso like her son. Sadly,
she passed away recently at the age of 94. Since she had no family,
she left all of her fortune to her pet cat!
Now Tommaso is the richest cat in the world. Maria left him $13 million! His riches include cash, properties in Rome
and Milan, and land in other cities. Now,
Assunta’s nurse Stefania is taking
care of Tommaso. What a lucky cat! |
