* Go watch fireworks with your family:
Many countries in the world celebrate New Year¡¯s Day with fireworks. You can also watch fireworks in Korea. Watching a beautiful fireworks show with your family is a wonderful way to welcome the new year.

* Decorate your house:
How about decorating your house to welcome the new year? It is a lot of fun to decorate your house with beautiful ornaments. It is also a good family activity. Be creative and make some interesting ornaments with your family. Use a colorful paper. You can also write some hopeful messages on a colored piece of paper and put it in your room.

* Make New Year¡¯s resolutions with your family:
New Year¡¯s Eve is the perfect time to make New Year¡¯s resolutions. Sit down with your family with a pen and paper. Each person writes down his or her own plans for the upcoming year. Explain your resolutions to your family and have other family members do the same. Discuss why you have chosen these particular goals. It is a good idea to put the paper on the wall for the rest of 2012.

* Play games:
Have everyone write down his or her resolutions on a slip of paper. But don¡¯t write your names! Then, toss them into a hat and randomly read them aloud. Everyone has to guess which resolutions belong to whom. To make this game fun, you can invite your relatives, friends, or neighbors. Prepare small gifts for winners.

There are many other ways to celebrate New Year¡¯s Eve. Come up with your own fun ideas. Before having fun, don¡¯t forget to look back on the past year. Think about the things you have accomplished. Also, think about the things you couldn¡¯t achieve. Then, make new plans for 2012. Happy New Year, everyone!
