On June 21, Prince William of England celebrated his 30th birthday. He was born on June 21, 1982 in west London. He is the elder son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who passed away in 1997. He is also the third eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. He is second in the line of succession, behind his father. He has one brother, Prince Harry.

Prince William¡¯s full name is William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor. He has many nicknames including Big Willie, Wills, Billy, and Wombat. He attended St. Andrews University in Scotland and graduated in 2005.

When he was a child, his hobbies included skiing, tennis, soccer, hockey, rafting, rowing, and shooting. Now as a grown-up, he enjoys watching movies at theaters.

He has been spotted watching The Avengers and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.

Prince William wanted to be a policeman when he was younger. But he decided to join the army. Then, in 2010, he became a search and rescue helicopter pilot. Shortly after qualifying as a search and rescue pilot, he saved the life of a man suffering chest pains while stuck on a mountain in stormy weather.

On April 29, 2011, Prince William married his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, at Westminster Abbey. He confessed he barely slept the night before his wedding due to excitement. His wedding was watched by 24.5 million people in the UK and more than two billion people around the world.

Prince William may look perfect, but he is just an ordinary person, too. He admitted that he is a terrible dancer. So his wife would dance him under the tables. He is also a terrible cook. Whenever he tries to cook to impress Kate, he burns something or overspills something. After all, the prince is a human being, too!
