Who is your favorite writer? There are many influential writers in the world. American author Stephen Covey is one of them. He is best known for his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People¼º°øÇÏ´Â »ç¶÷µéÀÇ 7°¡Áö ½À°ü. The book was published in 1989 and sold more than 20 million copies in 38 languages. It changed the lives of millions of people all over the world. Sadly, the author passed away on July 16 at the age of 79.

Stephen Covey was born on October 24, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a famous educator, author, businessman, and motivational speaker. He was also a professor at Utah State University. Dr. Covey wrote many best-selling books including The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families, and The 8th Habit.

Dr. Covey was once named one of the 25 Most Influential Americans by Time magazine. He also won numerous other awards. Among his many accomplishments, he treasured the National Fatherhood Award the most. He was a good father to nine children and grandfather of 44!

Dr. Covey tried to help people live happier lives by providing with advice and guidance. He taught people all over the world how to control themselves and lead successful lives through his books. He was recognized as one of the most respected adviser, consultant, and author of leadership, family issues, and self improvement.

Sadly, Dr. Covey passed away last week of complications from a bicycle accident earlier this year. He had that bike accident in April and has been weakening since. All of his nine children and his wife were with him when he closed his eyes for the last time. According to his son, Sean Covey, it was what he always wished for. ¡°It a great way to end his life,¡± he said.

Dr. Covey left this world having improved the lives of many. His books changed the way millions of people think of themselves. He also encouraged children to develop productive habits to lead happy, successful lives. His books will continue to improve lives for many years to come. Rest in peace, Dr. Covey!
