 Johnny
Depp is one of the most famous actors in the world. He is
also a producer and musician. Soon, he will have another job. Can you guess
what it is? To our surprise, he will become a book publisher! He will publish
books by famous and unknown authors.
Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963 in Kentucky. The American actor
gained huge popularity after
starring in numerous popular movies.
Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory (2005), Alice in Wonderland (2010), and the Pirates
of the Caribbean film series (2003-present) are some of his popular
movies.
 Depp
rose to stardom on the 1980's television series 21 Jump Street, becoming
a teen idol. As one of the greatest actors in the world, he has won
many awards, including the Golden
Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor.
Depp is multi-talented. Other than acting, he is
also known as a great producer and musician. He produced The Rum Diary
and Hugo last year. In 2012, he produced Dark Shadows with the famous
director Tim Burton.
He is also a wonderful guitar player. He played the guitar in movies
such as Chocolat and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He has appeared in many music videos
including, Avril Lavigne’s Alice in 2010. He even performed lead guitar and drums for
You’re So Vain, which appeared as a bonus track in Marilyn Manson’s
2012 album.
Now, Depp has another job as a book publisher! He wants this new career to bring previously unpublished books to the
market. He will publish some books by famous authors and others by
relatively unknown ones.
