 The
world is filled with many interesting people. Some people have amazing world records, too. Ram Singh
Chauhan from India is one of them. The 54-year-old man has the longest
mustache in the world. According
to the Guinness Book of World Records, his mustache is 4.2 meters
long!
Mr. Chauhan has not cut his mustache for 42 years - since he was 12
years old. He became famous for his long, unique mustache. In fact,
Mr. Chauhan received attention long before entering the Guinness Book
of World Records.
His famous facial hair was featured
in the 1983 James Bond film “Octopussy.” He has made cameo appearances
in several Indian movies, too.
It must be hard for him to take care of such a long
mustache. But he has special grooming secrets. He carefully grooms his facial
hair regularly. He uses coconut oil on his mustache
to make it silky and shiny.
 Usually his wife helps him
do the job. “I wash my mustache every 10 days and it takes a long
time. Also, I massage it and oil it regularly,”
he explained.
He is very proud of his world’s longest mustache and he will keep
growing it. He will even compete in the 2012 World
Beard & Mustache Championships세계 수염대회. It will be held in Las Vegas in November.
