the legendary artist Pablo Picasso once
said, every child is an artist. But not many children actually draw paintings professionally. To our surprise,
a five-year-old girl from Australia has been called an “artist.” Born
on January 9, 2007, Aelita Andre is the youngest professional artist
in the world!
The young art genius began painting when
she was only nine months old. Her work was displayed publicly shortly after she turned two. In June 2011,
when she was four years old, her first solo exhibition opened in
New York City. During her first art exhibition, every one of her paintings
sold within seven days!
Last week, she returned to New York with
a new amazing solo exhibition. She brought 22 colorful paintings
this time. “I like all colors. I even like grey and black, but the
colors I like most are red, blue, and green. Oh, I also love silver and gold,” said the world’s youngest
artist, showing her work. Let’s hope her second exhibition will be a huge success like the
first one! I can’t wait to see her third one already! |
