July 20 is a special day in the U.S. In fact, it is the sweetest holiday in the country. It is none other than National Lollipop Day! The day is celebrated every year. American children eat all kinds of lollipops to celebrate the sweet day.
This year, a candy company in San Francisco created something very special. It made a huge lollipop to celebrate the joyous day. In fact, the massive candy set a new world record as the biggest candy in the world!

It took many hours for the candy makers to design and make the world¡¯s largest lollipop. The previous world record holding candy weighed 2,954 kilograms and it was made in 2009.
So, how big is the new biggest lollipop in the world? Don¡¯t be surprised. It is 183 centimeters tall and weighs 3,175 kilograms! What a huge lollipop! Do you think you can finish eating it?
