 Recently,
a young American boy surprised the world by setting
a new world record. His name is Ethan Bortnick and he is 11 years
old. He is a piano player. He started
playing the piano at the age of three, using his small toy piano.
The amazing little boy taught himself how to play the piano! By the
age of nine, Ethan played music with famous musicians such as Elton John
and Beyonce. The young pianist didn’t stop there. He went on to hold the Guinness World Records
title as the world’s youngest solo musician to headline his own tour!
Ethan was presented his certificate by an official from Guinness in
New York City on July 25. Under the title “It’s All About Music,”
he is visiting 22 cities in the U.S. and playing piano concerts. “My
concert tour is a lot of fun!” said the young musician.
A portion of the proceeds from his tour and
sales from his new single
“It’s All About Music” will go to a children’s hospital to help
sick children. Let’s hope his concert tour will be successful! |
