It
was Halloween last week. Many children had a lot of fun that day.
Many families decorated their houses with
pumpkins and other Halloween-themed stuff. Black
and orange are the symbolic colors of Halloween.
To our surprise, a Halloween-colored lobster was found just ahead of the fun holiday! The lobster has
a different color on each side
of its body. It is half orange and half black!
The
rare lobster was caught in Massachusetts by a fisherman named Dana Duhaime.
She named the lobster Pinchy. The Halloween-colored lobster has been
donated to the New England Aquarium in Boston. According tomarine experts, having two
different colors occurs once in every 50 to
100 million lobsters. It sure is a rare lobster! Happy Halloween,
Pinchy!
